Huadian Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as HHI) (Tianjin Base) is located in Beichen Science & Technology Park, Tianjin City. It is a production and manufacture base that owns the capability of fabricating large complicated steel components and equipment. It has the manufacturing technology on wind turbine towers (max: 3MW), and its wind turbine tower manufacturing is recognized by the GAMESA. 
  
HHI, the important production base in North China, has two major production bases, namely, Wuhan Base and Tianjin Base. The Tianjin Base enjoys a convenient transportation: 4.5km to Beijing-Tianjin Expressway, 15km to Binhai International Airport, and 45km to Xingang Port (Tianjin). In addition, the Tianjin Base covers an area of 204,600 sqm.

 

With a registered capital of RMB 50 million, HHI (Tianjin Base) was established in April, 2004. The company occupies an area of 307 mu, including 56,100 sqm of workshop, 3,370 sqm of auxiliary building, 3,600 sqm of office & research building and 42,800 sqm of open operation site. In addition, HHI owns over 500 sets of various items of processing and inspection equipment. With fixed assets of 250 million, the company employs nearly 580 staff members (the number of outsourcing personnel is 180), including 75 professional and technical personnel in all levels and over 410 skilled workers.

 

HHI also owns a professional production line dominated by several CNC cutting machines, heavy veneer reeling machines and auto-welding manipulators, etc. At present, the company has a series of processing equipment, including CNC feeding equipment, large-scale bending machines, press machines, auto-welding manipulators, automated surface cleaning equipment, heavy duty cranes, etc. Thus, the company has the capacity to manufacture large complicated steel members. Now, its annual output can reach to over 60,000t, while the processing and manufacturing capacity includes heavy steel structure (12,000t) or 30 sets of handling equipment (about 8,000t); 400 sets of wind turbine towers (about 45,000t); and processed high temperature & pressure pipelines (8,000t).

 

Their main businesses cover the design, processed manufacturing, purchasing and technical services for products, including equipment for material transportation and handing machinery, wind turbine tower, high temperature & pressure pipelines for power station and heavy steel structure. All the above products are used in the power station, port, mines, chemical industry, high building and municipal projects. Since its foundation, the company has provided hundreds of thousands of tons of various steel members and mechanical handling equipment for materials for all industries. The most representative projects made by HHI are the Myanmar National Textile Mill (Pwintbyu and Pakokku plants ), steel structural work related to the National Electric Power Dispatching Center, etc.

 

HHI passes the ISO14000 and AISC certifications, meaning its internal control and management system has been further improved.
