CRBBG Won the Expressway Project in Huaian City

It is reported that China Railway Baoji Bridge (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred as CRBBG) has won the expressway (phase I) project in Huaian City in recent days. This project is in the section of HA-KSL-6-1 of the whole Beijing-Hangzhou canal bridge project in Xi’an road. It is the second bridge project in Huaian undertaken by CRBBG. This project means bridge steel structural market has made progress in Huaian city.


The HA-KSL-6 section with the trend of “north and south” is the important part for this expressway project, which is located in Xi’an road, Huaian city. This bridge across the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is a double deck viaduct with continuous three-span steel truss beam, adopting fully-welded integral node plate-truss composite structure, while its span arrangement is (59+150+59)m. Two main girders are arranged in bridge lateral part with the distance of 36.5m, while the height of girder is 8m and standard space between sections is 9m. The bridge’s upper deck is the eight-lane city expressway for bi-directions, while the lower deck is the main city road of six-lane for bi-directions and two non-motorized vehicle lanes. The whole bridge project adopts the system of arch-beam combination structure, mainly including steel truss arch (arching ring), wind bracing, main truss beam, bridge decking and accessory structure. The total weight of bridge is about 17,000t.
