Wujin Lotus Museum is located in Jiangsu Province, and it covers 3.5 acres of land. This project has 3 complexes with the shape of “lotus”, namely, art gallery, modern art museum and hotel. The total steel consumption is 1,500t.
Wujin Lotus Museum is located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and it covers 3.5 acres of land. This project has 3 complexes with the shape of “lotus”, namely, art gallery, modern art museum and hotel. Meanwhile, blue glass clad is used in the vault of “lotus”.
This project adopts steel ring beam structure (height is 0.650m), while its main material is Q345B. The total steel consumption is 1,500t, including 240t of steel ring beam, 460t of frame, and 800t of structural “petal”. Automatic and semi-automatic GMAW (CO2) welding process is used in this project. Additionally, this project contains 52 “petals” in total, which is mainly consisted of round steel pipes for main chord (D460x16), square tubesfor web member (FG300x150x10), and round steel pipes for diagonal bar (D140x7).The largest height for “petal” structureis 28m, while the width is 17m.
