The form of the tower is equally driven by the needs of the bank. The spatial arrangement is tailored to the Bank's organizational structure, while providing the flexibility to anticipate and respond to future change and growth. The crescent form maximizes cellular office space at the perimeter, and the tower's sixty floors are punctuated by three double-height sky lobbies, which provide a social focus and meeting facilities for staff. These communal areas are complemented by the chairman's club with panoramic city views in the dramatic 18-metre-high volume at the tower's apex. This project will be completed and put into use in 2020.


Crossing Yangtze River, this bridge adopts the mode of "highway +railway +road", which is also the first bridge for 3 using purposes in the world. The upper side of this bridge is the highway with 6 lanes, and the design speed is 100 km/h; the upper side of lower deck is the intercity railway with 2 lines, and the design speed is 200 km/h; the lower side of the bridge is the road with 4 lanes, and the design speed is 80 km/h. Meanwhile, many new material and new structure are also involved in this bridge project, including the parallel wire cable with great endurance of 2,100 MPA, the intensity of which ranks the No.1 among similar bridges, overpassing the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge (with the intensity of 2,000 MPA) that is under construction. In addition, the main tower of this bridge adopts the open caisson foundation, the area of which equals to 13 basketball courts, becoming world's largest open caisson foundation in water.
