Shanghai Construction Steel Structure (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred as the “company”) is located in the economic development zone of Haimen, Jiangsu province, which mainly has four development models, such as Jianan business, industry, real estate and investment. In 2012, this company was jointly invested by Shanghai Construction Group (SCG) and Shanghai Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd with a total investment of RMB 720 million.

Since its foundation, this company has undertaken many domestic and overseas projects related to the field of heavy steel structure such as bridges, power stations, etc. Meanwhile, it has a factory with the area of 488 mu and a workshop with the total area of 100,000 sqm. Now, this company has become a large modern steel structural fabricator with the yearly steel structural capacity of 150,000 tons, as well as sales scale of 300,000 tons.

Apart from the fabrication workshop, this company also has a large blasting and painting workshop of 2,700 sqm. Now, the company has more than 600 advanced equipment such as digital steel processing center, 3D CNC drilling, CNC plasma flame cutting machine, four-column hydraulic press (2,000T), hydraulic flat car (200T), multi-functional robot, flat drilling, electroslag welding machine, CNC cutting machine, bending machines, etc. At present, there are 485 employees in this company, including 100 engineers and technicians from different levels, 4 CWIs, 7 ASTN inspectors, 4 Class-A registered construction engineers, 6 registered safety engineers and over 100 AWS welders. Additionally, this company also holds Class A Steel Structural Engineering Contractor Certification, Special Qualification for China’s Steel Structural Fabricators, as well as Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

Relying on its technology, management and talents, this company has undertaken many domestic and overseas projects in recent years, such as Shanghai Tower, Henglong Plaza in Shenyang,  Henglong Plaza in Kunming, Magnolia Plaza, China Expo Exhibition Center Complex, Shanghai Disney, ocean engineering national oil Wells, Passenger Terminal Building for Hong Kong-Zhuhai- Macau Bridege, 12 Drilling Rigs for National Oilwell Varco in USA, Steel Structural Works for Power Plant Coal Transport System in Vietnam, Lordstown project in USA, El Campesino project in Spain, Sliding Module project in National Port Authority of Panama, CNOOD project in Dominica, etc. In addition, this company also holds AISC and EN 1090 certificates.
