Wuhan Swing-bridge, across the railway bridge, is located in the downtown area of Wuhan city, Hubei province. The total length of this bridge is 256 m, while its main span is 116 m. The bridge has 6 2-way lanes. In addition, the swinging bridge part is 135.2 m in length, 52 m in width, while its long-arm end of the rotation is 91.4 m. This project is the first large-scale concrete box girder rotating construction at the top of bridge piers in China, and the single rotation part is 17,300 t in particular, which becomes the heaviest swing-bridge in Asia.

There is a huge wheel with the diameter of 8.9 m between the bridge's main pier and the giant steel beam, and steel spherical joint worked as the “axis” in the middle of the wheel. 10 large-diameter steel cables will pull the swinging part. Particularly, aerial rotation of #8 bridge pier is 77.17 degrees with 88 minutes, while #9 bridge pier is 104.82 degrees with 108 minutes.
