International Convention Center of Haihua Island is located in Danzhou City, Hainan Province. The total building area of this project is 86,000 sqm, of which 66,000 sqm is on the ground and 20,000 sqm is under the ground. Meanwhile, this project contains 108 multi-functional meeting halls, including grand conference hall (5,000 people), banquet hall (2,000 people) and international round-table conference hall (1,500 people).

This project is shaped as 12 peonies in full bloom, while the outer part of petals is consisted of different twisted steel pipes. Additionally, the height of the tallest petal can reach to 30 m, and the distance between petal ribs is from 1.4 m to 1.6 m, while the distance of inner petal rib is 1.67 m, middle petal rib is 1.45 m and outer petal rib is 1.54 m. The steel consumption of single structure involved in this project is 3,195.5 t, and the steel material is Q345B. Besides, cold forming process, intermediate-frequency bending steel pipe process and pre-assembly procedure are adopted in this project.
