Taizhou Sports Park Stadium project is located in Zhoushanhe block, Taizhou City. This project, with the anticipated investment of 1.88 billion RMB, occupies the land of 46.932 acres. It contains 1 large stadium that can accommodate 30,000 audiences, a sports hall with 6,000 seats, a modern aquatics center, and a gymnasium. Meanwhile, the total building area of large stadium is 57,000 sqm, modern aquatics center is 25,000 sqm that can accommodate 1,500 people, gymnasium is 19,000 sqm, including 24 table tennis tables, 6 badminton courts, 1 tennis court and commercial property. In addition, this project will be also equipped with such facilities as underground commercial property and parking garage, outdoor playground, etc.
Besides, stadium roof plane is approximately circular, the length of which is 263m from north to south, 233m from east to west, while the height of this stadium is 48.5m. The overhang length of the canopy is 36.0m in the east, 47.8m in the west, and 30.8m from north to south. This stadium project adopts roof steel structure, stayed structure, and roof support system. Structural steel part involved in this project mainly contains 3 parts: steel
plate shear walls and steel embedment under the V-shaped column, upper roof and entrance canopy. This project is anticipated to be completed and put into use in the end of 2020, and it is will be the main stadium for 20^thJiangsu Provincial Games.
