Harbin Concert Hall, 30-meter high, is located in Daoli District, Harbin City, and its total building area is 36,109 sqm, including 11,850 sqm above the ground and 24,259 sqm under the ground. Meanwhile, the underground parking garage of this concert hall can accommodate 441 cars, and the total investment of this project is 690 million RMB. This concert hall includes performance waiting room, large concert hall with 1,200 seats, small concert hall with 400 seats, VIP lounge, artist lounge, etc.

The total weight of steel structure involved in this project is 42,000 t and the largest span is 310 m. Besides, the roof is supported by 24 trusses, while the distance between 2 trusses is 37.96 m. The top of roof is shaped as plane rectangle, while the long axis is 332.3 m and the short axis is 296.4 m. The highest part of the roof is 68.5 m, while the lowest part is 42.8 m. Main materials involved in this project are Q345B and Q460, and the plate thickness can reach to 110 mm. Besides, the façade of this concert hall adopts double-glazing curtain wall. Welding processes used in this project are SAW, GMAW (CO2) and electrode welding. And UT is used for nondestructive test on welds.
