Dayue Highway Bridge (Dongting Lake Bridge) is the most important road section between Linxiang and Yueyang. This bridge is located in Qili Mountain, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. Starting from Jijia Lake area in the east to the reef area in the west and also across Dongting Lake, this bridge is about 2,390 m in total. Main bridge is steel truss suspension bridge characterized as “twin towers and doubled spans”, while the layout of bridge span is “1480+491” m. This bridge will have 6 two-way lanes, while the main structure of steel truss adopts Q345qD and Q420qE. The total steel consumption of this project is about 40,000 tons.
