Zhaoqing New District Sports Center is located in the west of Changli Avenue, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. This Center occupies 721 acres of land (including 226 acres for water area), while its total building area is 87,142.63 sqm. With the total investment of 1.2 billion RMB, this project contains stadium, training hall, football field and football park.

The football field, with the height of 48m, adopts cantilevered steel box girder structure, and the weight of steel structure is 4,500t. This football field uses metal roof cover with continuous resistance welding. Main part of stadium uses suspended-dome structure with the span of 107m, the total building area of which is 29,665.37 sqm with the height of 33m. Meanwhile, main part of stadium adopts reinforced concrete framing structure. The training hall, with the building area of 3,602.26 sqm and 22m in height, adopts suspended-dome structure with the span of 58m. In addition, football park occupies 244,399 sqm of land, including 3,900 sqm of building area and 5,333,909.3 sqm of green space. This football contains 1 service center, 2 pitches with artificial turf, 6 basketball courts and 4 tennis courts.
