China Welding Association

Found in Beijing in May,1987, China Welding Association (hereinafter referred to as CWA) is a nonprofit and independent national organization with 830 members all over 28 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, engaging in boilers, pressure vessels, shipbuilding, heavy machinery, welding materials, welding equipment, welding and cutting equipment, machine tools, engineering machinery, agricultural machinery, forestry machinery, coal mining machinery, textile machinery, home appliances, light industry and other electrical and mechanical industry.

 

CWA aims to advance welding technology, promote technique and management of welding production to increase economic benefit; as well as make a positive contribution to exchanging and connecting members and governments through reflecting the requirements of enterprises.

 

Missions of CWA:

 

● Investigate, collect, and analyze the fundamental data and market demands on welding industry, put forward welding development plan and technique policy to the government;

● Integrate and publish welding-related economic and technological intelligence and market dynamics,to provide authoritive consulting service to enterprises;

● Train professional personnel in different ways for enterprises, and thus to enhance welding personnel’s skill and technical capability; hold the exchange activities relevant to new technique, process, equipment and materials;

● Summarize and popularize the advanced achievements in scientific research and management experience,participate in enacting professional standards, rules and regulations for welding industry, develop cooperation and exchange in economy and technology with the counterpart organization at home and abroad.
